Trish Woods works predominately in pewter and silver exploring aspects of form, colour and contrasting surfaces. Having studied at Loughborough University, she has also taught in the USA and for many years was a lecturer and course leader in 3D Design and Metals at South Devon College. Her PhD research centered on investigation into new processes for the artificial colouring of Tin and Pewter. The results of the research, developed through a now patented process, aim to utilise those colours inherent but hidden in the material. She is now based at Unit 6, Seachange Craft Studios, Cockington, Torquay, Devon where you can view her work.
