Mark Fenn Award 2024
Congratulations to Seamus J Hughes, who is the 2024 winner of the ACJ Mark Fenn Award. Seamus's work explores ideas of change, state and feeling, through his 'restricted wearables.' The judges were impressed by the narrative and presence of his work, alongside pushing the boundaries of what Contemporary Jewellery can be. Seamus studied BA Product Design and Craft, at Manchester School of Art.
Thank you to the judges Joanne Haywood (ACJ Head of Programmes and Advocacy), Caroline Jackman (ACJ Director), and Michael Lin (ACJ Early Career Representative). Thank you for Mark Fenn for his continued support for this award, which is open to all BA Jewellery students exhibiting at New Designers.
We were delighted to welcome back the winner of the 2023 Mark Fenn award, as a judge, Michael Lin from Birmingham School of Jewellery brought a unique perspective to the judging panel as our Early Career Representative.
