ACJ Mark Fenn Award 2012
The ACJ has recognized the emerging talent on show at 2012 New Designers by awarding a prize.
The ACJ’s Mark Fenn Award for 2012 was presented to Frances Andrews who is graduating this year from Duncan of Jordanstone College, Dundee. Her ‘Wear / Worn’ collection explores the notion of temporary and transient jewellery; creating items that can be worn but are ultimately impermanent. There is no ‘finished piece’: the materials she has used; graphite, flowers and transfers, are all subject to change, influenced by the wearer and the environment.
