Annual General Meeting 2014

Our 17th Annual General Meeting was held at Shift in London and confirmed the re-appointment of the Board of Directors and Advisory Panel for the next year. At the meeting’s conclusion the Chair, Terry Hunt, outlined the Board’s schedule for Members’ Exhibitions in 2015, 2016 and 2017, including a conference in 2017 which will celebrate the Association’s 20th anniversary.

After the meeting everyone enjoyed a presentation by Simon Fraser, course leader of the MA course at Central St Martins. Simon showed examples, not only of recent work by his students, but also projects tackled through his design-strategy consultancy, Ultra-Indigo.  A unifying theme across all was how jewellery design can provide solutions to cultural and economic issues.
