Michael Opipari

Milano Jewelry Week
After careers as a freelance photographer and retail designer, Michael Opipari embarked on a new journey. Since 2017, his experiences have given him a perspective on crafting environmentally friendly, ethically sourced wearable art. Michael's process begins with water-casting, a method involving the introduction of molten silver into water. These water-cast elements are then micro-welded into larger configurations, preserving details soldering or casting cannot achieve. Ultimately, combining traditional and non-traditional metalsmithing techniques yields one-of-a-kind organic creations.
