Nolden Bottomley

The exhibition opened at The Lighthouse on 19 February

Opening event: Artist Talks by Simone Nolden & Anne Walker

Please note, The Lighthouse has now been CLOSED to the public

To celebrate this exciting exhibition of international contemporary jewellery, two of the artists gave presentations about their work and practice.

Anne is a jeweller and owner of heist jewellery, she predominantly uses CAD in her work and is an independent tutor, teaching privately and at schools of jewellery in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Simone Nolden trained as a gold and silversmith in Cologne,Germany. She characteristically combines both precious and non-precious materials to challenge the traditional concept of value.

Each artist gave a presentation about their work, and there was a lively discussion with the audience.

EDIT : The Lighthouse was closed to the public on 18 March due to the epidemic, so the exhibition is now CLOSED.

The exhibition is open to the public from 20 February, in the Long Gallery on floor 5,  The Lighthouse, 11 Mitchell Lane, Glasgow, Scotland G1 3NU

The Artist Talks event is part of an accompanying events programme, partly sponsored by the Lighthouse. See also the Jesmonite for Jewellers Workshop.
