Director Janet Fitch and Findings Editor Muriel WilsonACJ group show at Treasure, part of the third London Jewellery Week, 2010

We also had a stand at the 2011 event

The flagship show had over 80 stands, with seminars and catwalk events.

London Jewellery Week invited ACJ to bring a range of members' work, and we filled four cases with a wonderful variety of styles & materials.

The work varied enormously, from gold & diamonds (Shimara Carlow, Ruth Wood & Nest Creates) to clay, silk, titanium (Lynne Bartlett PhD), enamel, polypropylene (Gill Forsbrook), rusty metal and found objects (Dauvit Alexander); fabrication, fold forming, casting, fine granulation (Erica Sharpe), and stone setting of many types. 32 makers took part, drawn from 50 applicants.

Elizabeth Bone's beautiful folded 18ct neckpiece won an Editor's Choice from Adorn London.

Many of the individual Treasure exhibitors are also ACJ members, including Ute Decker and Tina Lilienthal.  The Private View was fuelled by Pimms and Mojitos, and was a very enjoyable evening, as shown in the pictures.

The Prize Draw was very successful - see separate article.

Thanks are due to : Joanna Hardy for drawing the winning prize, Lynne Bartlett, Sue Hyams & Tamizan Savill organisers; Geraldine Peirce, Liz Willis, Tricia Taylor, Poppy Porter & Syann van Niftrik - set up and breakdown teams, and the stewards.
