Organised by The Goldsmiths' Centre and Crafts Council the study day will expand on themes drawn from two major exhibitions celebrating jewellery-making: A Sense of Jewellery at The Goldsmiths’ Centre, curated by Amanda Game and Dorothy Hogg, highlights the design thinking and material innovation emerging from independent studios.

The Crafts Council’s I AM HERE, portable art, wearable objects, jewellery from 1970s, celebrates collections and how collections and exhibitions enable innovation and experimentation. It features works from recent collections of jewellery, including The Crafts Council Collection.

The event will include contributions from makers and curators and features keynote presentations from Dutch art historian and publicist Marjan Unger and maker and Programme & Course Leader, BA Jewellery Design at Central St Martins, Caroline Broadhead.
