Kostadinos Karanikas of Kostadinos Jewellery produces work that is highly organic and explores the underwater world of reefs and the seabed. The work is inspired by the multitude of creatures and species living on the rocks like sponges and corals and also the fauna that coexists amongst it.

Nature is a driving force and design is the means to express this. The designs in kostadinos jewellery follow the shapes, textures and lines that exist in the rich ecosystem of the reef while retaining an honesty in the use of the precious metals and stones that the earth provides especially when combining them with manmade materials. The intention of the work is to emulate nature and elude to the world of the sea rather than simply copying it.
