An exhibition of exceptional contemporary jewellery exploring the influence of colour.

The Association for Contemporary Jewellery (ACJ) Edinburgh held an exhibition of work by some of Edinburgh’s premier jewellery designers in November 2013, at Patriothall Gallery, WASPS Studios, 1d Patriothall, Hamilton Place, Stockbridge, Edinburgh, EH3 5AY.

Some of Edinburgh’s most distinctive and innovative jewellery design in an investigation of colour.

Founded in spring 2010, the Edinburgh branch of ACJ is a community of professional, independent jewellery designers producing work which is of an exceptional standard. Working together as a group, they are known for their passion, creativity and thoughtfulness and aim to become pathfinders within the national and international craft sectors. Early in 2012 ACJ Edinburgh became a constituted group and are well on their way to providing a new direction and voice in Scottish contemporary craft.

This was the third exhibition by ACJ Edinburgh and the theme of colour has provided opportunities for the group to explore new directions, materials and ideas. Chromatic was vivid, vibrant and exciting.
