My work explores the visual and sensory aspects of jewellery and its relationship to the wearer. From this I have developed pieces with fluidity and movement inherent in the form, which encourage interaction.

I am fascinated by structure and geometry, which leads me to explore the effects of rhythm and repetition. Ideas are developed into three-dimensional forms which investigate the volume and transparency of structures.

My inspiration is drawn from nature, architecture and sculpture, from which I create wearable sculptural forms, using 18ct Gold and Sterling Silver wire which is made into repeated units, thus allowing the structures formed to be flexible and light. Some pieces require up to 1000 hand crafted units and use 28 meters of wire to create the structural form of the necklace.
