Emine Mine Thompson
Biscuit Box Studios, Studio 30,
Stoddart St,
Newcastle upon Tyne
Emine designs and makes her distinctive jewellery in Ouseburn, the creative heart of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
She works in silver and employs silversmithing, metal clay, enamelling, and sculptural techniques to create her designs. With a background in 3D modelling and design, she seeks to bring together the individual characteristics of different materials and techniques to create unmistakeable pieces.
She enjoys using colour in her work, employing deep blacks by oxidisation and deep shades using vitreous enamels and adding indulgence to her designs with 24k-gold accents.
From pendants to rings, bracelets to earrings, Emine’s unique and expressive jewellery offers a contemporary twist on more traditional ideas, and they reflect individuality and creativity.
