Rebecca Oxenham jewellery evokes the timeless beauty found across the British countryside. Often using natural objects, the jewellery designs capture the exquisite and unique shapes and textures of seeds, twigs, leaves, and seashells. Each piece of jewellery carries its own personal meaning, and sometimes a memory, and frequently echoes the symbolism found in nature and deeply rooted in folklore.
I am not currently scheduled to exhibit at The Christmas Makers Fair organised by The Point and Sorting Office Studios located at The Point Theatre, Eastleigh, Hampshire on 18th November 2023 10am to 5pm
Hello, my name is Rebecca, and I am the designer and maker behind Rebecca Oxenham Jewellery.

Nature is my therapy; it is where I feel calm and it is always my kind friend. I love nothing more to be out in the countryside or by the sea, walking my dog and enjoying the beautiful scenery around me. I find myself collecting shells, bark, leaves and other organic items I discover along the way and come home with pockets bulging – just like a child!

It is from these items that I get my inspiration for my jewellery. With constant experimentation I create beautiful, delicate, and unique pieces of fine jewellery. I want to capture the beauty of nature in my jewellery and to transport the wearer to their own memories and favoured landscape.

I wanted to share my passion for jewellery making so I extended what I do to run regular beginners’ silver clay jewellery making workshops and experience days. I have also designed a beautiful kit for people to make their own jewellery using silver clay at home which has been a best seller and featured on ITV news and Steph’s Packed Lunch on Channel 4.

In addition to my self learning I studied at the CSACJ for my Art Clay Diploma Level 1 Certification in Silver Clay. This is a world-wide, recognised qualification, administered by the official distributors of Art Clay in Europe. I am also an instructor member of AMCAW (Association of Metal Clay Artists Worldwide).
