Rosie Wesley is a graduate from the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham with a BA (Hons) in Metalwork. She is currently working from her studio at The Sorting Office in Eastleigh, Hampshire.

With a focus on texture and form, Rosie’s sculptural works are individual, site-responsive pieces to locations within the New Forest, where she grew up.

Rosie works with direct burn-out casting techniques to produce replica textures of bark which she combines with components based on the landscape’s negative spaces. Markings and drawings on the pieces reflect her personal interactions with the space.
