Designed By Bond is the collection of work by new designer and silversmith Nicola Cursley-Bond.

Her designs are inspired by living in, and travelling through, some of the most colourful and exotic places in the world: from the gardens of Africa to the crystal waters in Thailand; from spending her childhood exploring the souks and deserts of Saudi Arabia; to spending many years visiting the volcanic craters and white beaches of Ascension Island.

Nicola applies traditional silversmithing techniques and draws on her fine art training by using semi precious stones like an artist uses paint. Exploring the interaction of colour and shapes to reflect an emotional experience, like a simmering sunset over the Atlas Mountains. Offering handmade unique jewellery with distinctive short run ranges, characterised by their colour, elegance and simplicity.

Nicola is also the co-owner and curator of the up-and-coming contemporary jewellery and art gallery, Cursley & Bond, along with her husband Chris Cursley in Folkestone's Creative Quarter.
