Tamizan works mainly in vitreous enamels and silver, making small boxes and vessels, and a range of jewellery for men & women.
Honorary Member of the British Society of Enamellers.
Tamizan works for ACJ as Development Manager, and is a freelance exhibition organiser.

Tamizan used to build recording studios and run music projects for young people, but enamelling is much quieter.
She started working with silver in 1990, and enamelling in 1994. She set up her workshop fully in 2001, and won an Award for Artists from South West Arts (ACE) in 2002.
Commissions include badges of office for the Ecumenical Prebendaries of Bristol Cathedral (2002 and 2005), for Bristol Museum & Art Gallery (2007), and for the Macrorie House Museum, Maritzburg SA (2007)
