Heather’s previous career in science & engineering is evident throughout her architectural and mechanical designs.
After making & selling jewellery for 7 years whilst working full-time, she returned to university as a mature student to study Jewellery & Silversmithing at the world-renowned Birmingham School of Jewellery. Graduating in 2019 with distinction, she was awarded a Goldsmiths Precious Metal Grant and a bronze award by the Goldsmiths Craft & Design Council.
Inspired by nature, architecture, historical scientific instruments and automata, she seeks to combine the precision of mechanical systems with precious metals and gemstones, to produce unique and desirable pieces of fine jewellery.
